The year is 2017 and My husband is sharing a poem with me from the New York Times. We clip it and save it, clinging to the words. The following year we find ourselves in Miami with nothing to do. That was until a moment of serendipity, when we meet her in person and finally get our hands in the book containing the poem we treasured. Fast forward to the year 2021 when she graciously allowed me to photograph her on film before she moved from Nashville. An honor to know you—Until we meet again friend!
