Branding work is one of my favorites because I get to conceptualize a shoot that brings artistic elements from other creatives. Such is this case with Andi Mejia, a calligrapher with custom lettering that she crafts in amultitude of mediums. Some of her work includes programs, place cards, scrolls, wedding invitation suites, menus, and logo branding. She is incredibly talented and her work is very unique.
My goal with branding photo shoots is to collaborate and partner with other local creatives. Raney, behind Rane Made, styled the outfits using a few pieces of her fall line. Hair and Makeup was done by TradeMark Beauty Inc. Andi and I worked together for the vision of the shoot. She gathered paper, texture and props to enhance the pieces that were chosen for the shoot.
I want to say thank you to Andi for allowing me to capture her inspiring work, as well as her beautiful self. I'm honored you trusted me with your remarkable work! Can't forget Tyler, who worked behind the scenes as your assistant. This shoot was a great collaboration and I am more than happy with the results. Fun fact, Andi was the girl behind the logo for my husband's new book, On Mercy (available on All Saint's Day | Nov 1st, 2017).
